Happy Hour made its first TV appearance last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
The wait is over - the new weezer album is out now! With Pacific Daydream, weezer is stretching into new sounds and vibes that they've rarely flirted with before, while retaining their all important grip on the cool melodies, unforgettable songs and the collision of happiness and sadness that is essential to weezer. As always, weezer doesnt like standing still, so prepare for some surprises!
I've seen this band go through many phases since the old days, and I find myself once again hearing things I never expected, and never expected to be so compelling. Give Pacific Daydream a good long listen, I think you'll hear more and more, the more you do.

Next up from the new album is ‘Happy Hour’, which like many cool weezer songs has a sad message wrapped in a sunny package. Sort of a companion piece to “Island In The Sun” from 2001, but instead of being a pure fantasy about an escape, the guy in ‘Happy Hour’ is chained to reality, looking around for a break from the routine. It’s not hard to relate, but unlike that guy, fortunately we have new weezer music to listen to!

Hey folks, Karl here to announce that “Weekend Woman” is the latest song released from “Pacific Daydream” (out everywhere October 27th). This track has a feel that kinda takes me back to the old days of the band. The combo of thick guitars, massive harmonies and sad melodies are what makes weezer… weezer – back in the day, and today.
Stream/download (out everywhere ex-U.S. Friday).
p.s. there might be one more song for you before the album's out too. You'll just have to wait and see...
