Just gave it another listen and I have to say it reminds me a lot of Green era Weeer. I think the lyric "At the back of your mind" reminds me a lot of the Green era favourite "You're on my mind." and then the "woah" backing vocals are very reminiscent of the era too. I don't know how I feel about this snippet to be honest, it doesn't have that daring, experimental quality to it that I thought you were going to aim for after taking in all of that progressive rock in recent months (it's quite the opposite actually, it sounds like short, powerful pop), that's not necessarily a bad thing, since you have done this sound so well in the past, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't expecting something different from this recent crop of Weezer demos.

I like it, especially the piano snippet we got, most Weezer songs sound great on the piano (that criminally short clip of you playing Smile in the making of Green video immediately comes to mind).

Just a suggestion: the two "woah-oh"s sound a little copy and pasted in, my ears telling me that the second one should be phrased just a little differently, something like coming in with an "h" the second time instead of a "w" would sound great in my opinion.
