I bought my strap at a standard Guitar Center here in the states. I have not bought the Gibson variety, actually. Mine appears to be quite a bit smaller and is not leather. With that said, it is possibly my favorite strap I have used, is light as a feather but totally holds the neck of my Gibson up fine.
