Thanks for keeping in touch and being so active with this site. Loved the songs you posted. Nice pics too (what match were you at in the pic?). Anyway, keep on Rockin' it!
I look forward to the day I will be able to shake your hand and tell you just how much of an inspiration you are to my work. Maybe you'll let me open for you someday :P

Hey rivers... its my bday 2day and my only wish would be 2 talk 2 you... or even get a message from you. That's my bday wish! Lol it would make it the best bday ever. Well I hope u have a great day. :)
Rivers, have you penned any tunes by yourself lately (i.e: with no collaborators)? This is what I'm missing from Weezer's last two albums (though I do love Hurley, it's just different).
so I've found my songwriting to be a little lackluster and derivative lately, I hardly ever variate my guitar work within a song and I'm always stuck to a very rigid plan because I just don't know how I can add some flavour to the basics.
I was thinking of learning some music theory after I listened to Pinkerton and become aware of all the little twists and turns that would happen in the music, whether it be key changes, tempo shifts or variation during the verses, I'm guessing a lot of that didn't just happen on accident. What books or specific areas in music theory helped your song craft most during those early Weezer days? I'm looking to hone my construction to a similar musical landscape so knowing what techniques you really utilized could help me immeasurably.
I'm on Weezer overload, and that's a good thing. I am a Beatlemaniac, so don't get me wrong, but Weezer has got to the this ages Fab Four. Rivers is a true musical genius, and soo prolific; which we all appreciate. Thanks so much!
Hey Rivers i forgot to say happy birthday last summer :(..you never grow old with the band. You inspire me and my band. We cover your music so much its unbelievable
you make me smile! your so awesome! i would love to meet you. your music is so great and different, i would love to talk to you and get in your mind and see where this music comes from! lol i am a nerd i dont know if that makes any sense... hahaha... hopefully you know what i mean

Ive only been listeening to you guys since maybe midsummer but you've already got me hooked. I would love to hear a new sound from you guys maybe somthing along the lines of pinkerton but with some new elements added. whatever it is it'll still be great !! =w=
