2011/06/05 Houston, TX: Free Press Summerfest

weezer covering "Paranoid Android" by Radiohead in the studio, last week.

...Team Weez has re-assembled, finding themselves in a land of intense heat and bright hazy sunshine. Houston! Its been a few since we've played down here, but we all remember the need to slow down a little bit so as to not have a heat meltdown. Hopefully by this evening in Eleanor Tinsley Park it will have cooled down a bit so the rock will flow unimpeded. The festival started quite early today so the bands seem to be managing so far... Well, no matter what the conditions, the Team tends to ger 'er done, so all should be good.

Yall put on such a spectacular performance thank you so much for coming to Houston again. Haha oh that mushroom, we had to rescue ourselves to get it out of the crowd it was a hazard to my head for sure, with the nails poking out of it, that was way cool when Rivers picked it up and pulled it on stage. Despite the heat they rescued us with sprays of water and passing out the water bottles. Which was a lifesaver!

Rivers took the hose at one point and starting spraying everyone. Great set list a mixture of Blue, Pinkerton and select other songs from Green and Red album. Great job, come back soon!
