2011/10/14 Gulf Breeze, FL: Pensacola Beach: DeLuna Festival
Todays show is the opening day of the 3 day DeLuna Festival, which is a multi-stage event featuring a ton of bands including Jane's Addiction, The Shins, and Cake, amongst many many others. The scene is a sunny warm beach with nice breezes coming off the Gulf of Mexico, and music filling the air. Not bad!
Today is the last currently scheduled weezer show untill our Weezer Cruise launches in January. Thank you to all the fans who have come to all the shows this year so far, and to the cruise volunteers handing out flyers at the shows, and to the many who volunteered to pass out Cruise temp tattoos and wristbands at their hometown shows. And thanks to all who offered their very kind words and memories about Mikey - he will live on in the collective weez-concious for all time.

I went, and it was a blast! Karl, my friends and I were the ones yelling at you before the show (and after the show, too.) Do you remember writing something in the air, and what was it? None of us could tell, but we thought it was "915."
We got kicked out of the VIP area right before the show started, so we climbed up on the dunes and ended up getting to touch Rivers as he walked by. (We've all since agreed that we can die happy.) I felt like the crowd was a little dull, but we were super stoked to get to see y'all. Best concert ever.

I went and it was AMAZING of course! I traveled about 8 hours just to come see Weezer play, and the drive and dishing out the gas money was completely worth it! This was my first show and hopefully not my last. I bought two tickets and my friend had to cancel on me, and I can't give the other one away, but Weezer was worth double tickets.
