It was Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" which they first covered at the OC Fair last month.

Hey Does anybody know the song they covered in the middle of the show? Rivers was holding the lyrics while he was singing. I think he said it was an LA band. I think the chorus went "Rock rock baby rock rock" or something like that. Thanks for any help you can give.

this was my 29th weezer show.  & i don't know what it was specifically but it was definitely one of my all time favorites.  perhaps the fact that they played LONGTIME SUNSHINE, SUSANNE, & everything off of BLUE except for surfwax.  mostly though, I felt like the whole show i didn't know what to expect as to what song would come next.....it was just awesome.  there was some weird thing with the crowd right in the front, but everyone else was standing up and rocking out.  Rivers jumped into the crowd...and it was just insanely fun.  worth the price, worth the time to drive there from LA, worth the hotel, worth every penny.

Rivers proved again that he is the BEST FRONT MAN IN ROCK N ROLL TODAY!!  The Casino placed its favorite high rollers up front and center.  The result:  A bunch of old dude with great seat sitting through an amazing show.  Being a total pro, Rivers keeps the intensity up and keeps the crowd in it.  When the crowd needed a little jolt, Rivers walked to the first row behind the velvet rope and the party was on!  The hardcores used the opportunity to party with Rivers (that is until the security guards shoed us back to our seats).  During "If You're Wondering If I Want You To", Rivers toured the entire hall - without body guards, security or anything - he just wanted to party with the true fans.  We chased him around the hall partying all the way.  Before he was back on stage he had finished "Only In Dreams".   He led a group of us back to the stage where he finished off a perfect setlist with "Island in the Sun" and "Buddy Holly".  I have been to a lot of concerts in my day and I have never seen anyone come into the audience they way Rivers did on Saturday night.  It was the best example of appreciating the fan base I have ever witnessed.

Our eighth Weezer concert, and probably the best. A real treat, a couple of the songs I had never seen live before

That was the best show ever ... I still can't believe I got to hear only in dreams live=) That was so awesome, I wish we had stayed after the show; in the casino . It would have been nice the run into them. Oh well, it was a great night for me and my dad... we've planned see Weezer for over 10 years and we were never able to go... and in the desert tooo! <img src='http://www.bkserv.net/images/Grin.gif' />

Dare I say it... this is one of the best weezer shows I've been to, and I've been to a lot of them! Who would've thought it'd happen in the desert! Loved Susanne, Only in Dreams, and OMG, THANK YOU, guys for playing Longtime, Sunshine!!!
