2012/07/27 Show: Hammond, IN: The Venue at Horseshoe Hammond
Today Team Weeezer has assembled in the Chicagoland area, taking a short ride down across the Indiana border to play the Horseshoe Casino, specifically the aptly named "The Venue" venue. Opening tonights show is fellow Weezer Cruise alumni band Sleeper Agent!

We were sitting up in one of the suites and the sounds quality was very good!!! So was the full bar and food spread that we weren't expecting!

The guys were on fire and the performance was great. I can hardly complain about getting a face full of Rivers' amps (cause that was awesome in a special way), but I'd love to hear the vocals better and a more balanced mix. Any hope of an official boot that might be able to correct the imbalance in the sonic force?
Was the sound great in other parts of the venue, The Venue? Maybe it was just my location? Fantastic energy and a fun show. Can't wait for more! =w=!

The concert was awesome! We had a great time and enjoyed the setlist...from opening with Undone until closing with The Greatest Man That Ever Lived. Couldn't tell who the opening act was....think it was a last minute fill in. He said he was in a Chicago band that had just released a 4 song EP, but he said the band's name so fast that I couldn't tell what was saying.
