Hello people. "Death To False Metal", due out on November 2! Same release day as Pinkerton Deluxe Edition!

Pre-order Death To False Metal and Pinkerton Deluxe here: http://shop.weezer.com/

Death To False Metal is a special album of weezer songs that were prepared for albums in the past but never quite fit in. They have been gathered and rehabilitated into an album all their own now. Death To False Metal is sort of like weezer's version of Rivers' "Alone" records. Its not a new studio album per se (for that, see 'Hurley'!), but it is something that weezer fans will dig. So check it out and enjoy!

Death To False Metal Tracklisting:

1. “Turning Up The Radio”
2. “I Don’t Want Your Loving”
3. “Blowin’ My Stack”
4. “Losing My Mind”
5. “Everyone”
6. “I’m A Robot”
7. “Trampoline”
8. “Odd Couple”
9. “Auto-Pilot”
10. “Un-Break My Heart”

Why is the Epic Weezer Pinkerton Package not available for Canada...I really want that :(
I've spent a ton cash picking the singles from the early era.

I remember mailing in an entire package to get on the old fan club prior to the Green Album during the Weezer hiatus. I got no response. Now I'll never get the Pinkerton fan club lyrics.

It looks amazing and the people across the border are really lucky.

i'm glad this isn't released yet. it gave me a chance to cancel my amazon pre-orders and order the real deal.

I'm dubious, being as Hurley has been underwhelming for this longtime Weezer fan. The commentary here suggests that this album will have more guitar work on it...GREAT! I wish all their albums did. I've been waiting for another Maladroit-style guitar display...maybe this will be it. Fourth record since 2008....wow. Hope Rivers dons his guitar more often from here on out.

Super excited about the guitar solos. This is crucial to the Weezer sound and the Weezer fan. Could you imagine the blue album or Pinkerton, or even Make Believe without guitar solos? I'm excited to hear that Rivers and Brian colobarated on them as well. The thick guitars and ripping solos is what has made Weezer more than just an average pop band. Although I like the Green album, it could of been amazing with dynamic solos.

p.s. - I'd love to hear Devotion played live. Also, please come to Dallas for the Memories tour.
