2011/08/05 Las Vegas, NV: Red Rock Casino

After a fast flight up on a shiny and tiny little jet, we stepped into the 103 degree heat of Vegas and said, "yeah... but its a dry heat!" and jumped in the car. Fifteen minutes later we were at the Red Rock Hotel Resort and Casino, which is off the beaten path of the Vegas strip, up where the natural beauty of the desert resumes. Except on the casino floor where its pretty much a casino through and through, complete with a tasty buffet.

Tonight weezer is playing a sold out show at the back lawn/pool area of the hotel, a really pretty area of water, trees, people swimming in well fitting bathing suits, and a giant rock stage. Its pretty much a no-lose situation!

I've seen Weezer a few times before this & this was definitely the closest i've ever been, right freakin' in front of Brian Bell! It made me so happy :) Rivers also passed in front of me a couple times & I grabbed his arm at one point haha. After the show, Karl threw me a pick of Brian's and came back a minute later to make sure I got it. So cool!!
