2011/02/28 Weezer Playing Canada Day Festival, July 1, Toronto!

Folks, here's another weezer concert announcement for our growing 2011 show schedule. Weezer will be a part of the Canada Day festival in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on July 1st alongside the Tragically Hip, Broken Social Scene, Hey Rosetta! and Buck 65. This concert will take place at Downsview Park, and the tickets go on sale Saturday, March 5th at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.ca and by calling (855) 985-5000. However, prior to that, 102.1 the Edge’s Inside Edge presale begins Friday, March 4th from 10 a.m. to Saturday, March 5th at 9:59am. Weezer mailing list members will recieve the pre-sale password.

Of course I will tolerate the obligatory opening act that allows me to find my seat, pick up a quick snack, and use the restroom all while experiencing what I like to think is my own musical accompaniment. However, please do not feel the need to arrive with a collection of other bands as part of a festival of sorts. Just Weezer would be best. Thanks!
