Today an army of weezer peoples started their assault on Jacksonville, Florida, where The Carnival Fascination cruise liner will depart from tomorrow, for 4 days of rock craziness on the open seas and the beaches of the Bahamas. Bands, crew, staff, and a whole lot of fans have been preparing, practicing, packing, and making ready for this moment for months now, and finally its time to get this show, the second ever Weezer Cruise, on the road - er, the water.
Hopefully no one will be…
Today the weezer assemblage assembled in snowy, super cold Mississauga (or Brampton, depending on which GPS you use), a major suburb of Toronto, for a free weezer show hosted by Microsoft, to help launch their new store at the nearby Square One Shopping Centre. In a distinctly Canadian move, the show itself was put on at the Powerade Centre, a huge hockey complex full of local teams practicing, and the home of the CHL regional team, The Brampton Beast.
The kids fought their way…

Today the guys jetted over to Phoenix to play the Birds Nest at the PGA Waste Management Open golf tournament. The show was packed and people and golfers were partying hard. Today's photo album is by you, the fans - courtesy CrowdAlbum:

Courtesy Scott, heres the scene on stage after soundcheck today...
Day two in Aspen! Brian rode the gondola to the top of the mountain and proclaimed the view "scary". Pat shrapled on his snowboard. Later Pat had pizza with Karl. Rivers drank tea and rested his voice. Scott marched through the snow to a metallic beat as his son leaned to snowboard. All in all a good day in Aspen, leading to soundcheck and soon the show itself.…

Today the Weezer Squadron reassembles like Voltron up in the mountains of Colorado, for the first of 2 shows at the Belly Up Aspen club in Aspen. Pat Wilson and Scott Shriner arrived a bit early to enjoy Christmas on the slopes, the rest of the team is getting into position now. These are the last 2 shows of the year and the first time the band has played the day after Christmas.
The guys have played the high peaks of Coloroado once before at the Vail Snow…

Today we awoke in central Long Island, for the 3rd of this weekend's shows, at the Paramount Theater. There have been very few New York City area Weezer shows in a long time, and although this place is pretty far from the city proper, many area fans are making the trip up to Huntington to receive the rock package that is weezer in 2013. The Paramount is a really nice venue that people say is definitely worth the trip out from the city to catch the bands you like. Tonight we…Continue

After an all night drive down from Rama Ontario, we awoke in the pastoral Lehigh Valley, home of the once mighty original Bethlehem Steel mills. Wisely, once Bethlehem Steel folded up shop, the gigantic historic complex was cleaned up and re-purposed rather than knocked down. The Sands Casino was built on the grounds, and so here we are amongst the towering blast furnaces and old coke ovens... and slot machines. Tonight we have an opening act,…Continue
Hi people - well, we've been off the tour buses for a while, but were back again for a 3 show late season run, starting tonight in Rama, Ontario at Casino Rama. This is our second time here, the first being a little over a year ago. We never expected a venue in such a seemingly remote place to be so full, and so full of stoked weezer fans, but it certainly was, and we hope it is again tonight. Its looking a lot like winter is about to hit up here, but we know from…Continue

After a few hours of recovery time after last nights show in Cincy, we got it together early this morning, flew down to Atlanta, and headed to the massive Midtown Music Festival grounds, which is normally known as Piedmont Park. Everything looks good, but unfortunately the rain followed us down here, and it looks like its going to be wet show #2 in a row. But we're not worried at all, because despite the deluge last night, no spirits got dampened - on the contrary…Continue

Another weekend, another set of weezer shows! We've assembled here where the city of Cincinnati rests on the mighty Ohio River, a forested vale splitting the states of Ohio and Kentucky. Today were playing at the Horseshoe Casino downtown, specifically at the outdoor venue "The Shoe", which sounds like a blast, although there is some talk of rain which would make for a wetter concert experience than we planned. But that has never stopped us before! (I think back to…Continue
After yesterdays sold out show in Concho, we packed up the gear and the guys and the rock, and took it down to Thackerville, a small town just North of the Texas border. Because casinos are not allowed in Texas, they put one here to attract the people up from Dallas, about 90 minutes away (or less if you aren't concerned with speed limits). So tonight's show should be a good one, as we hear tell the show is just about sold out. So thank you for coming out to the…Continue
Today the Weezer Massive has assembled at the Lucky Star Casino, about 30 miles outside of Oklahoma City, to deliver the correct dose of weezer rock thats been required here. The Event Center is actually a huge tent that they attached to the casino, so its sort of both an indoor and an outdoor venue at the same time. Its always kind of a mystery why they tend to put these casinos so far from the rest of the world, but so long as people can get themselves across the…Continue
Last night, the crowd at the Calgary XFest showed the world how to go ballistic, during our set and everyone's, including for Passion Pit who had to do a DJ set as all their gear was ruined the night before in Chicago in a massive storm. The mood was raucous and full of wild energy while weezer played, and our buddies Blink 182 capped the night off right. Its pretty cool when all the bands on a bill are good.
Tonight weve packed up the whole shebang and…
We have returned to the rugged Western plains and mountains of Canada to do our part to supply rock and roll to the needy peoples. They have developed an excellent way for bands to do this out here in Alberta, namely the XFest. The XFest is an annual 2 day multiband music extravaganza that's held on the historic grounds of Fort Calgary. This year we are teamed up with Awolnation, Mother Mother, Passion Pit and Blink 182, though another group of bands plays here…Continue
Well, here we are back in sunny SoCal, returning to the Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds for the 3rd time, which, as they say, is usually the charm. Our first 2 shows here were pretty epic affairs, with unbelievably huge crowds who went bananas, as well as a band going bananas too of course. We think we can go for the three-peat tonight.
As ever, anyone traveling down from LA or other points north is strongly advised to allow for some extra time to get…

Today (Friday Aug 2, which it already is over there), Weezer plays the Jisan World Rock Festival in a huge forested ski resort about an hour outside of Seoul. The 3 day festival has a ton of cool bands playing including our old '96 USA tour mates Placebo, and legendary rapper Nas. Oh, and Jamiroquai too. We are playing the first night, headlining the main stage to get the…Continue

Today we touched down in the big hot flat desert city of Las Vegas, which has become not just a gambling mecca but a mecca of fancy exclusive pools where shows happen. Today we go to one we've not been at before, the 4th floor Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, to blast some weezer rock into the desert winds.
Tonight Hunter Hunted is opening for us. They are a 2 man band from LA who are starting to blow up in SoCal. Good stuff! They hit the stage…

Today our West Coast Weezer War Wagon has rolled into Costa Mesa, California, to the Pacific Ampitheatre in the Orange County Fairgrounds. We played here 2 years back and it was a blast, and tonight were back and ready to do it again, and 8000+ peeps are waiting to take their seats and rock out with us…Continue
Team Weezer has reassembled after getting torn apart by the Walking Dead down in San Diego! Today we find ourselves at the Americas Cup Pavilion on the very nice waterfront in San Francisco on a rather chilly night for late July. Tonight we are joined by the talented Limousines, who are based out of SF and who we did some shows with a while back. They are busting out with some rock saxophone and vocoder as I write this.
Some have noted the absence…
