Memories of Weezer

When I was 13, the Blue album came out.

I loved it. It was my favorite cassette tape, later my first Compact Disc.

I had a weezer t-shirt in high school it was dark blue with the white lettering.

I went to a small school far from any big cities, and most of the kids didnt know who weezer was, and began to call me by the nickname 'weezer' because of the shirt. I didn't mind.

2010/10/14 Jackass 3-D! | Pinkerton: Deluxe + Death To False Metal!

Yesterday, weezer attended the mighty premiere of "Jackass 3-D" at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. followed by a raucous afterparty across the street at the poolside lounge of the Roosevelt Hotel. Mucho mas fun was had by all. In attendance were all the Jackass regulars and pretty much anyone who had anything to do with them, a menagerie of famous and infamous types including Spike Jonze, Tony Hawk, Handsome Jack, and Ron Jeremy(!?!).

Mile High Fest Recap Aug 15, 2010

For those who may not have seen past blogs of mine, this is a little info on my CO adventure. This was my first time to really get to be at a Weezer concert! I was so excited! Before they were able to come on, they had to take the big W down because of the wind, and so it would not fall and hurt someone! AZ Fall Frenzy 2010

After arriving in PX I had enough time to get my will call ticket, and chill out before the next day. Next morn I headed to the Tempe park, very excited, and waited for the gate to open. Well Folks, you talk about heat, even for PX metro it was HOT! Trying to have shade, and wait for Weezer was a task! There was some very good music like Blue October, and Devo, just to name a few! Why Weezer's Pinkerton is so amazing

I was introduced to Weezer back in 2001 with Hash Pipe. I was around 8

at the time, still listening to Backstreet Boys and N'SYNC along with

everyone else back then. Hash Pipe was a kick in the ass, and what I

truly believe to be the song that really introduced me to rock music.

BEST WAY TO BE SENT OFF

When i heard about this tour I was frightened that I would be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan when it came to life. Tonight I bought tickets to the Weezer show in LA. I will spend my Thanksgiving before being shipped off to war for the first time at the shows of my dreams. I'm excited beyond words...

Weezer on Black Cab Sessions - Watch it Now

Head on over to http://www.blackcabsessions.com to see Rivers and Pat perform "Memories" in the infamous Black Cab.

The Black Cab Sessions are a unique thing - they put you in a cab in London and start filming. Because of the small size of the cabs, usually only 1 or 2 band members can fit and play. they dont allow rehearsals or second trys - you just belt it out, and whatever happens happens, thats what they post up!

Bradley show

The show at Bradley arena was awesome!! I have been a HUGE fan of WEEZER since the 90's. The energy in the arena was great, I loved the smaller venue, made it more fun and interactive. WEEZER ROCKS!!!!
