Another weekend, another set of weezer shows! We've assembled here where the city of Cincinnati rests on the mighty Ohio River, a forested vale splitting the states of Ohio and Kentucky. After yesterdays sold out show in Concho, we packed up the gear and the guys and the rock, and took it down to Thackerville, a small town just North of the Texas border. Because casinos are not allowed in Texas, they put one here to attract the people up from Dallas, about 90 minutes away (or less if you aren't concerned with speed limits). Today the Weezer Massive has assembled at the Lucky Star Casino, about 30 miles outside of Oklahoma City, to deliver the correct dose of weezer rock thats been required here. The Event Center is actually a huge tent that they attached to the casino, so its sort of both an indoor and an outdoor venue at the same time. Last night, the crowd at the Calgary XFest showed the world how to go ballistic, during our set and everyone's, including for Passion Pit who had to do a DJ set as all their gear was ruined the night before in Chicago in a massive storm. The mood was raucous and full of wild energy while weezer played, and our buddies Blink 182 capped the night off right. Its pretty cool when all the bands on a bill are good.
