Tempe Beach Park

So I made the trek to Fall Frenzy in Tempe at Tempe Beach park.

Weezer (obviously) was the headliner. This was the first I time I saw Weezer & I was super excited to see them. Let me tell you they did not disappoint. I had sooo much fun & they really are really fun band to see. They threw out "Weezer" toilet paper into the crowd, dosed the crowd with water & tossed out beach balls. 2010/09/15 Burbank, CA: NBC Studio 11: The Tonight Show With Jay Leno



We arrived at the NBC Studios about 10:30 AM, and the band was soon on the stage area of the Tonight Show set, running through "Memories" many times as the sound techs and lighting techs got everything squared away. Then it was time for lunch at the fabulous NBC Commissary, where terrific treats and tiny tater tots were toted to our tables and tasted. Why Does my Green Album list songs from the Blue Album?

Went to pick up the new Weezer CD today and thought that since I never purchased the Green album, I would buy that as well. When I put it in my car CD player, Gracenote lists only songs from the Blue Album (which is confusing). Do all of the Green CDs do this? Going to download on my Apple.. hope it doesn't copy over the Blue Album that is already on the computer.

2010/09/14 Hollywood Tower Rooftop Patio: 98.7 FM Breakfast With Weezer

The band and contest winners arrived around 8:30 AM at 98.7's HQ, high atop the Hollywood Tower on Franklin Ave in LA. The Hollywood Tower is one of the beautiful 20s-30's era "castle like" old school high rises scattered throughout Hollywood, and the 98.7 offices up top are super stylish and cool. Cooler still is the outdoor rooftop penthouse deck, where the "Breakfast With Weezer" on-air interview and Q+A with the fans took place, hosted by DJ's Darren and Kennedy, who of course goes way back… Continue
