Today we touched down in the big hot flat desert city of Las Vegas, which has become not just a gambling mecca but a mecca of fancy exclusive pools where shows happen. Today we go to one we've not been at before, the 4th floor Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, to blast some weezer rock into the desert winds.
Tonight Hunter Hunted is opening for us. They are a 2 man band from LA who are starting to blow up in SoCal. Good stuff! They hit the stage…

Today our West Coast Weezer War Wagon has rolled into Costa Mesa, California, to the Pacific Ampitheatre in the Orange County Fairgrounds. We played here 2 years back and it was a blast, and tonight were back and ready to do it again, and 8000+ peeps are waiting to take their seats and rock out with us…Continue
Team Weezer has reassembled after getting torn apart by the Walking Dead down in San Diego! Today we find ourselves at the Americas Cup Pavilion on the very nice waterfront in San Francisco on a rather chilly night for late July. Tonight we are joined by the talented Limousines, who are based out of SF and who we did some shows with a while back. They are busting out with some rock saxophone and vocoder as I write this.
Some have noted the absence…

Today's show was an exclusive party/show for the cast and crew of the Walking Dead, in a parking lot near the massive San Diego Comic Con, but we managed to grab some tickets to give out to our fans in San Diego! We only got a handful of tickets, but everyone who got in reported a raging good zombified time. See the fan generated CrowdAlbum page of all the pix and videos taken at the show by the fans and attendees here:…Continue
After a 5 show in a row run, yesterday was a day off to rest and recuperate, and to travel across the wilds of Canada to its West coast. This run of shows has the distinction of introducing us to not one but 2 new Canadian cities, both of which are very impressive - Quebec City, and now Victoria, located across the bay from both Seattle and Vancouver. The Rock On The Shores Festival promises to be fun today, as we play on the same stage as Reignwolf, Vince Vaccaro,…Continue

Today we awoke in the fine city of Toronto, Canada's largest municipality and one that was very recently slammed by the worst rainstorms theyd seen in many years, causing massive flooding all over the place. Today is sunny and it looks like theyve had a chance to dry out a bit finally. Hopefully the metro system is back on track, as weve got to get all the fans up to the northern suburbs where Downsview Park is. Today is a special weezer show, with a regular set…Continue

Today we find ourselves back at the Ottawa Blues Festival, playing after Animal Collective on the appropriately named Bell Stage. Bad weather threatened things early on today, but it looks like its going to be smooth sailing for rock…Continue

Today we awoke after a long overnight drive and border crossing to find ourselves in Québec City, a place that Weezer has never played before. Everyone was duly impressed by just how beautiful this place is, with amazing views everywhere we looked as we travelled thru town to the massive site of the Festival d'Été de Québec. This is a 3 week long festival with hundreds of music artists and cultural events, and this years line up is packed with good bands. Tonight on…Continue
Today marked the first show in a weeklong summer weezer march across North America, mostly in Canada. Today we assembled the weez machine in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, a sometimes sleepy seaside town that likes to party when the mood strikes it. Fans came from all around, as far south as Providence RI and as far North as New Brunswick to join us at the historic Hampton Beach Casino, which reminded me of Roseland in NYC or the Palladium in LA with its big wide old…
