Backstage, deep in Australia in January 2013, these things happened. You must accept.

We haven't been to the center of the lower 48 states in a while, so we thought it was time to double down in Oklahoma! Today we arose in Osaka with a need to get 315 miles to the north, as todays 3rd Punkspring Festival show is up in the Tokyo metro area, at the Makuhari Messe, which is a giant convention center north of Tokyo, where they usually hold the Summersonic Festival. Of the many cool things about Japan, the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) is not only fun and relaxing, its amazingly convienient. We made our way from Nagoya down to Osaka today in less than an hour, riding in serene smooth comfort as the  Japanese landscape flew by. Enjoyable travel.... what's not to like about that?
