Today the Weezer aggregate hath reassembled in the suburbs of Boston to help Microsoft launch their latest store in Natick, MA. Micrsoft has set up a stage in a parking lot near the new store, and it is in these leafy environs that the fans have lined up for some free rock! The first 200 people in line also got into a post show meet and greet with the band, so that will be a fun post show…

Today we arose in Osaka with a need to get 315 miles to the north, as todays 3rd Punkspring Festival show is up in the Tokyo metro area, at the Makuhari Messe, which is a giant convention center north of Tokyo, where they usually hold the Summersonic Festival. So off we went, once again knowing that the Bullet Train was the relaxing answer.

Of the many cool things about Japan, the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) is not only fun and relaxing, its amazingly convienient. We made our way from Nagoya down to Osaka today in less than an hour, riding in serene smooth comfort as the Japanese landscape flew by. Enjoyable travel.... what's not to like about that?
