I've been thinking about this from time to time but I have come to a understanding and that is simply Rivers vocals cant handle the load of over 20 songs. I've noticed how he does crack(which I'm fine with happening) and using more auto tune in his sets. The auto tune is already his crutch so it means he is pushing the sets to his limits. He has Brian, Scott, and Pat that can sing one song here and there to help give him rest but I don't think its enough. I skipped Weezer at Atlantic city because I knew they weren't going to do anything new(cept a cover) I would hope that Rivers would allow Scott, Brian, and Pat to sing more songs to carry the set list deeper but I don't see it coming anytime soon. Again just my thoughts so try not to rage and give me some Intel on what you think cause I know I'm not the only one bothered paying 85 bucks for a greatest hits list.

Uhh, they don't use auto-tune live in their concerts. Ever. The only time they've done that with live performances is when they've performed on AOL Sessions (who auto-tunes pretty much everyone) and Guitar Center Sessions. Someone correct me if I'm forgetting any other auto-tune examples.

As for missing their Atlantic City show, it was the first full-length concert with Pat on drums since 2008 (not counting the 2011 shows where they played Blue and Pink in one night). That changes the way they sound and the dynamic considerably. You also missed Can't Stop Partying (acoustic, which is pretty rare) and Getchoo. If you just want new songs then I guess I dunno what to tell ya.

Whether their concerts are shorter because of Rivers' voice not being able to last longer than an hour and a half... I can't answer that one. I do agree that I wish their shows were longer.

I'll take gohis word maybe the auto tune is(and was) used before and not now but I thought I caught it in a bootleg, still Blue and pink in one night( As AWESOME as that is) is still only 20 songs and pushing what I am thinking could be Rivers "Breaking" point. Yes all fans can agree deeper set lists is better.

I know Pixies played 35 songs at one concert recently.

When I saw the Pixies back in 09 they played 25 songs, to be fair a average pixie song only lasts like 2 minutes haha

My word is they never use it at concerts. Only on certain promotional appearances.
