What do you want and/or expect to see from the diaries?

As for Alone III, are you hoping for the same sound that Pinkerton had, or the acoustic versions of what the songs were before they were given studio treatment?  There are a lot of songs on Alone III that one can only imagine what they sound like.

I'm just curious about what everyone here expects to see and hear from both installments.

I'd like to see some of the songs from the 1999 recording session on it, when they recorded "Velouria".
I'd expect rivers demos. These would most likely not be acoustic songs (for the most part)
rivers is having 2nd thoughts about pinkerton diaries/alone 3. it's probably not coming out. sorry buddy.

Then why are his writings from the book on his website?

Want proof, here is my source, rivers cuomo"s site and go to writings, then go to What the devil is that song about and look towards the bottom

So...you want to see songs not from the Pinkerton era in an album that's only for songs in the Pinkerton era?

Don't reason with these people.
would be nice to finally see SFTBH get the love and treatment it deserves.

Lol was kind of hoping for better answers for this discussion.

Was hoping that people would want to see the in-depth stories that went into the makings of each song on Pinkerton, including the b-sides.  What you're hoping from songs we've never heard before like "Money Makes Me Happy" or "I'm On Fire, You're A Liar".  Maybe be specific with it.  But, oh well, thanks for responding anyways.

it's /Alone lll aswell.
