What other songs should Weezer make a cover of?
I think Sugar Sugar by the Archies would be sick! But I want to hear your opinions.

I'm sorry to everyone who thinks it is a good idea but I really think Beatles songs shouldn't be messed with. Even by a great band like Weezer. The Beatles have a classic sound that I don't think anyone could repeat or make better with there own stuff. That is exactly how I feel with Weezer remakes. I don't think I have ever found a good remake of a a Weezer song. It's just not the same... or better for that matter.

"Is she really going out with him" by Joe Jackson reminds me of Weezer every time I hear it. I'd LOVE to hear that covered.

Three suggestions 1. Dream on - Aerosmith 2. Tom Sawyer - Rush 3. Band on the run - Wings (Paul McCartney). I thinks Rivers and the guys could sing and harmonize on all 3 and come up with some cool musical interpretations on them as well.

The funny thing is, I could actually imagine Weezer covering Sugar Sugar. =P
However, I think they should cover Starlight by Zed... Oh, wait... They've already done that... (*very audible whisper* I'M KIDDING)
As Kaiser Chiefs/Parva are my other favourite band, I'd love to hear them cover one of their songs, probably Country In C or I Can Do It Without You.

I was out of the loop for a while and nearly fainted when I saw they'd covered "Should I stay or should I go" from my other favorite band!

They need to do C** on Feel the Noise...great rock tune that would sound awesome with the weezer wall of sound....plus it is right up Rivers alley for the time period.
