Ska - bunch of stuff, too many to mention
Hip-Hop - mostly old school stuff, Tribe Called Quest usually
Deep House - Lovetronic, Miguel Migs

Blues - Little Walter, Junior Wells, Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Willie Dixon, Taj Mahal
Jazz - Miles Davis, Grant Green, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Dizzy Gillespie
Classical - Satie, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Franz Liszt
Soul - Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Wilson Picket, Etta James

I love the blues as well, Blake. Ever listen to Hendrix's stuff with Band of Gypsys (or Hendrix's Blues album?) Not traditional really, but WOW.

Jazz fusion (I guess?) - Mahavishnu Orchestra's first 2 albums 'Inner Mounting Flame' and 'Birds of Fire' amazing stuff

I have to say that I don't really like any other genres besides rock. I like certain Ska and certain reggae but rock is my favorite

I enjoy a range of music, including music composed for film. I love the sampling of music by various DJs. The Avalanches, for example have recorded some interesting songs. But mostly I think of music as being fluent and not bound by genres.
