Or should I say, hear, in the next Weezer album.
Put aside your desires for old, classic =w= sounding stuff.
Assuming the album is something all new, never before heard from Weezer, what do you hope for?

That video that Rivers posted a while back had some old-tyme ship stuff (I can't remember exactly), the snippet of the song sounded like a pirate song, rivers was trying to make that underwater effect, and he stated that he wanted one on the next weezer albums to be more than a 10-track rock album. So...

Yeah, I remember the underwater thing.
I'm kinda siding with you. The whole seafaring thing could be cool.
But can you really imagine them going through with it and doing a rock opera, and not having it be SFTBH, or something somewhat similar?

I can only pick something they haven't done on any other albums? Well lets see what they've done on my list:
1.rap(yes darn)
2.Lil Wayne featured (yes, darn)
3. have others sing (yes darn)
I'm obviously being sarcastic.
I want a whole album that sounds like Getting Up and Leaving.
Or I guess if I HAD to play along.... an album that sounds like the State Farm song. Obviously the lyrics suck, but the instrumentals in it sound very good.... like a modern version of blue's crunchy guitars.

I'd like more songs. More of a raw, low-fi, edgey sound. Matt Sharp. Maybe a concept album. More guitar. More synth. Matt Sharp. More somber songs. Maybe some Cello. Matt Sharp. Better basslines. David Bowie. Oh, and Matt Sharp.
