What do you do say when someone you're talking to says they've never heard of Weezer?
"My favorite band is Weezer, I'm completely obsessed."
"Oh...I've never heard of them."
"Oh."
*awkward silence*
Haha I guess this goes for other bands too, but I always find it really awkward when this happens.

Actually this happened not too long ago. On the way back from Chicago (when I saw them live) I told the cashier at a gas station that we had just saw Weezer live. She said "Weezer?? I never heard of them... what are some of their songs..." and I was naming them and I ended up singing them because she told me to! "How does that go??" "hip hip..." "Oo wee oo I look just like Buddy Holly...." "Hold this thread as I waaaalk awaaay.."
