What are some Weezer concerts you wanted to go to, but were unable to?
I really wish I could've gone to the memories shows, they sounded like they were amazing!
I also would've liked to have seen them went they went on tour with Blink-182 a while ago, another one of my favorite bands.

Yeah, I paid $120 and $130 for both nights in Boston.

OMG Best night EVER! I often go back and watch the video clips I took that night. It was just so freaking awesome.

Most people who went to the Pinkerton show would agree that it was amazing and worth every penny... including the first set. In Chicago, Rivers barely touched the trampoline and gave a great performance stage presence-wise and vocally as well. That's not even mentioning the fact that they played 3 b-sides and Only in Dreams. It's sad you had to miss out on such an all-around amazing concert experience.

75 for one night plus 75 for another night is 150 dollars. I would easily shell out 100 dollars to see the Blue Album played followed by Pinkerton. I think most fans of that era would. I will not, however, pay 75 dollars to watch Rivers jump on a trampoline for an hour before seeing the album I actually want to see, only to do it again the next night. Just personal preference, though.

Went to trouble maker when I was 16. Soooo good. Had front row tickets to the show that got cancelled after the bus accident. (That one is definitely on my list.) And every single other one, cause they never freaking come to AZ anymore. If AZ doesn't get put on, I guess I'll just have to drive to LA or som'n.

Yeah, first day is important.
And, 8 yrs. is a really, really long time to be deprived of live music. Bet you're pretty happy to be back in the swing of things.

Well, you're a better mama than me. I actually let my kids skip school for the occasional special concert, so long as they keep their grades up, which they do. Three times the past couple of years. Not so bad, I guess.

Also, after being at the NYC Memories Tour shows, I really, REALLY wished there was a way I could've made it Chicago. Also, if my kiddos hadn't already started school, we were totally gonna get tix for the Allentown Fair (last summer in PA) for our whole family (my kids are also HUGE Weezer fans), but here in Maryland school starts before Labor Day, so we could not *sigh*

The Foozer Tour is also my biggest regret... I was pregnant with my first son, and too nervous to endure a rock show of that caliber while carrying him (let alone the amount of smoke, etc.) But I often beat myself up over it. That, and I wish I could have done the Vegas memories show, since I had just experienced the awesomeness of the Chicago shows and was keen to do it again.

Seen weezer 11 times. Missed them one time in Austin,TX with the Foo Fighters because my wife was in grad school and had a test and we were unable to drive 6 hours to the show. I gave my tix to some friends and they said it was awesome. I still haven't let my wife live it down.

I totally agree jKlein. Glad I'm not the only one who likes to relive the experience through video clips of that night. It was beyond amazing, truly one of the best nights of my life. (even my hubby agreed, and I had to assure him that our wedding day was as equally as epic as the pinkerton show night ;) )

That's how I missed the Foozer Tour. Love my son to pieces, but still upset I missed that show!

There are many shows I haven't experienced, (being from Australia), however seeing the band play the Foo Fighters tour would have been a thrill.

lol - 75 dollars? what's wrong w/ you. There were tickets that were priced below 40 dollars for the LA Shows. How do I know? I bought several of them for myself and friends!

The guys had a show booked at Cardinal Stadium (minor league baseball) in Louisville on August 23, 1997. I worked at Ticketmaster at the time, and first noticed the show the day it went on-sale. During my entire shift, I kept a front-row ticket held for myself so that I could buy it when I got off work. I sped to the closest TM outlet, purchased my ticket and was super excited. Well, after Mykel & Carli's accident, the show was canceled. Even though I didn't get to see the Weez, I endee up seeing Atari Teenage Riot, Wu-Tang Clan and Rage Against the Machine that weekend instead.
