First off, this show was absoloutely incredible, there is so much to cover throughout the entire show that it's hard to fit into one post. I don't want to ruin it for people going to Jones Beach today so i won't spoil all the highlights. You won't be disapointed. Anyway, what did everyone else who went to the show think? What was your favorite part and song? Personally, the show was amazing. My favorite part had to be Patting Rivers on the back when he came over to our area. Favorite song had to be you gave your love to me softly from pinkerton deluxe. Also, i thought the opening band yeasayer wasn't half bad either in my opinion.

I'm anxiously awaiting oktobermama's phone call about this show........ I think Sunday night................ I heard it was awesome............

It was something special, that's for sure.  It was the strangest, yet coolest show I've ever seen.  I think the mix of the craziness that the Flaming Lips brought combined with Weezer's more straight-forward style (with the exception of Rivers going out into the crowd during "I Want You To" and the space bubble) came across very well.

After seeing TFL live, I have a whole new found appreciation for them.  It was great to see the two bands interact at the end and play together.  Both seemed to really enjoy being able to do something like this.

They did really go well together, i really liked the first two songs they played, but others dragged on for so long, that it seemed more like a flaming lips show than weezer, but by the end Weezer definetly came out on top.
