Weezer recorded last month
I don't know exactly what they were doing, but I ran into someone today who said that they were recording things in the studio last month.
Not sure if this is breaking news, but there you go.

No! I want them to put out another record and have them *finally* go on another headline tour. Enough time has passed since Hurley, and I feel like they're taking their time with this one. Sorry for coming off as an a-h***.
