i just think that weezer fans that are paying that shitload of money to see weezer at the memories tour, are paying to see them because of those albums. the reason i haven't seen weezer since 2005 is because the albums got progressively worse and worse, and pat wilson does not play drums anymore. but i figure the real true weezer fans that are going to these shows, everyone's gotta know blast off, and everyone's gotta love that song from first listen. that would be my ideal show, period.

Permalink Reply by David T on May 5, 2011 at 1:20pm I have acoustically at a show before. But to cover it full band, you would need have the drummer purposely mess up on some of those transitions to get the full effect :)

Thanks for reminding me of the awesomeness potential this show has :(
Blast Off! NEEDS to be played live, but someone at least. That song rocks. Anybody ever covered it?

Permalink Reply by Gohi on May 6, 2011 at 12:27pm I think that would be a good setlist, but i still wanna hear all the hits.
That would be a really good setlist, especially Across the Sea, Blast Off, Glorious Day and Slob. Partly because I'm 90 percent sure I'll never get to see these songs live, but they're some of my favorites
If you're seeing Weezer soon, you can probably expect to hear El Scorcho, Surf Wax America, Photograph, Perfect Situation and Only in Dreams
