I didn't want to muck up the other thread with this stuff, since it seemed like more general cruise discussion, so decided to post this up. Anyway if you are serious about going on the Weezer Cruise (and of course have the money to comit), but are on your own and can't round up a big enough group to sign on with here is your thread.
I'm Jonathan, 32 from Chicago, nonsmoker, light drinker. I'm looking to have a fun, enjoyable and relaxing trip. Looking to share a room with as many like-minded weezer fans as I can (to save $$$). If you want to really party and rage we probably shouldn't share a room, I'm getting to old for that. I'm probably more likely to be reading a book between bands than getting sauced.

Permalink Reply by Jamie Theurich on July 15, 2011 at 12:40pm That'd be great thanks! I'll need something to read being there won't be much to do other than drink and smoke.

Hey there is a casino on board. I'll be at the blackjack table if my kindle runs out of juice.
Anyway, I called the Sixthman and they said all the rooms are pretty much the same size, no matter how many beds they can sardine in there. The biggest price jump seems to be between two and three people, after that its sort of diminishing returns (and space). So we'll all have to find balance between budget and comfort.
Permalink Reply by Chris Guarino on July 15, 2011 at 3:56pm I am a 30 year old man from MA. I may be looking to go and share a room with other people going alone. I am not crazy about going alone, but this seems like such a great opportunity and I am hoping others will be going alone and friends will be easily made. I am a drinker, but not a party raging type. Currently I smoke, but I probably wont be by january. regardless of that, you cant smoke in the rooms anyways.
Anyone interested in potentially rooming?
I will be going to both the nj and ny shows coming up, so that could be an opportunity to meet and see if we get along, although we will have already booked it so it may be inconsequential.haha
Permalink Reply by rayrayvarial on July 15, 2011 at 7:54pm i don't care if others wanting to share a room do or don't smoke or drink as long as they're ok with me. I'm very considerate. if any one is serious about sharing, can you message me directly so i can sort this out?
Permalink Reply by Michael H on July 17, 2011 at 5:01pm Thanks for starting this thread, Jonathan! I'm serious about doing the trip and looking for roommates as well.
I'm Michael, 30, from Atlanta, GA, non-smoker, social drinker (in moderation), looking to have a fun, relaxing trip, too. I will be (and have always been since college) a considerate roommate. Let me know if you need any other info. Thanks.
I'm Ange - 25 year old female and I live in CT (originally from Chicago). I'm looking to room in a double or quad (just in case the quads get all booked by the time booking commences). I don't smoke (I don't mind if you do), and I socially drink.
I have to check with my supervisor if I can get clearance - as I work at a university. *cross my fingers* I'll find out tomorrow (the 19th) if I'm good to go... but just wanted to throw my hat in the ring.
