On the New "Muppets" album, "The Green Album", (Never heard that title before!) one of the tracks is listed as Weezer and Hayley Williams of Paramore covering "Rainbow Connection" from the original Muppet Movie.
I am super excited, because it combines (once again) two of my favorite things: Muppets and Weezer.
Hey, just visited the muppets at the smithsonian... will post pics later... EXCITED ABOUT Rainbow connection cover... always interesting material from these guys!!

Permalink Reply by Gohi on July 2, 2011 at 7:13am I always thought that they were doing this song by themselves. First it's Miranda Cosgrove and now it's Hayley Williams. Just makes me wonder who's next for Rivers to duet with next: Rebecca Black? Justin Bieber? I thought that Rivers was totally over singing with people half his age.
Besides that it's Miss Astor Williams who kicked the Farro brothers out of Paramore in the first place. So she gets no respect from me for that.

And the plan was always to have Hayley sing it with them, no matter how much you or other Weezer fans may not like it.

Permalink Reply by Jordan on July 9, 2011 at 8:51pm Technically speaking, Weezer's album isn't called the Green Album; it's a self-titled album called "Weezer".
It's become popularly known as the Green Album due to the color of the album cover.
