What about this, picking your favorite tracks as per where they appear on the album. So, for track one, you'd have to pick My Name is Jonas, Tired Of Sex, Don't Let Go, American Gigelo, Beverly Hills, Troublemaker, IYWIIWYTIWYT, or Memories.
Has something like that been done?

I might do a reverse greatest hits and put Weezer's worst per album in chronological order, and newcomers can see that even the worst is pretty good yet have lowered expectations when diving into the albums and discover they are all quite good and consistent.

Ruling Me or Unspoken (whichever isn't chosen)
Auto Pilot (or Trampoline if Can't Stop Partying is put in above.)
Then end it with a newly recorded full band version of Lover in the Snow.
