We want Weezer at Soundwave Revolution!

According to AJ Maddah, promoter of Soundwave Revolution, there is a spot being held on the main stage for Weezer. It all comes down to them wanting to do it.

All the Aussies need to show support, show that we want them here!

If you guys feel so strongly about this turn of events, go post how you feel on Rivers' facebook wall. There seems to be considerable backlash to the information that they've been turning down a promoter for eight years now - and rightfully so, we've been lied to with stories of how Weezer can't get a promoter here and that it wouldn't be economically viable.

Go prove to Rivers that Australia isn't some desolate expanse that's incapable of loving Weezer. He is seeming to forget that we were one of the only countries in which El Scorcho and Pinkerton was embraced. Australia 'gets' Weezer, but Weezer obviously doesn't think that fostering that special affinity this country has for the band means anything...
