Permalink Reply by Rae on November 4, 2010 at 9:36am First Raditude, then Hurley (who was supposed to be a return to Weezer's old formula, i.e. "good songs"), and now Death to False Metal?!... I'm sorry, but I've had enough. I will not spend another dollar on a Weezer album. Ever. I've been a fan since their beginnings, but I don't find their music worth my hard-earned money anymore...

Permalink Reply by OnlyinPinkerton on November 4, 2010 at 10:45am i think we can all agree that part of the hype behind weezer is that they have a whole collection of excellent songs that have gone either unreleased, or stashed on deluxe editions, for a variety of reasons. i can't tell if rivers has bought into the hype and is pushing to put this stuff out because he thinks people will love it, or if he's putting it out because he knows he's got a small but dedicated fanbase that will buy it no matter what.
