I personally think that The Red album is so much better on so many levels, especially creativity, originality, and even effort but I would like to see what other people think is the better album. What is your opinion? It would be cool if Rivers gave his opinion too lol.

Red is by far one of the best. I think people underrate it because its not Blue or Pinkerton but I think its wonderful. Hurley is defiantly good but it did not draw me in a quickly as Red. I don't think the songs are on the same level as most of the ones on Red.
Red, hands down.
Hurley.
But the Red Deluxe songs are much better than most of the songs on Hurley.
Red is way better than Hurley!
Exactly (but just miss Sweeney and pig) ( the spider and king are only better than a few songs)

These two are on the same level as the Blue album and Pinkerton for sure... Ummm... Hard choice.
I think the Red album by a VERY slim margin... Just because of the instrument and vocals switch-up and "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" is one of Weezer's best songs of all time. "Unspoken" is too though.

Hurley feels too mish-mashed, while the Red album feels like it has an infinite amount of diversity and yet is still connected. I guess that's the only reason why. If you asked me what Weezer's best album was, I'd reccomend the Red album, but if you wanted the best representation of Weezer's entire discography expressed in a single album, I'd go Hurley.

I agree completely. People are always asking me to recommend one of the albums and I usually go with Red.
Yeah, what she said

Both albums fail. Really badly. In fact, devastatingly.
You don't at the very least like Greatest Man, Pork N' Beans, Dreamin', Angel and the One, Ms. Sweeny, and Pig? I think those are some of the best Weezer songs since the 90's. As for Hurley, my favorites were Ruling Me, Unspoken, Hang On, and Smart Girls (yeah, I know that last one is a pop rock guilty pleasure...it's catchy...I can't deny it). I personally don't think those albums are failures at all. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions though.

Really? You think more effort went into Hurley? They worked on Red for a year or so and they recorded songs like "Dreamin'," "Greatest Man," "Angel and the One." Far braver, more intricate songs.

I like Hurley more than red for its consistency but Red's highs are far greater than anything on Hurley.
Both albums seem to have the tracks out of order, but I'll go with Hurley. It's just a better album. Tracks 7, 8, and 9 seem wayyy out of play on TRA.
