The REAL rare Weezer tracks....

Anybody remember in 2000-2002 there were all these unreleased =w= songs like yellow camaro, prodigy lover, living without you, private message.... There was an entire album that was ready, and never got released. What came out instead? Green, which is by far the weakest album. I waited 4 years for 28 minutes of half-assed average =w=. I digress...

We all know that its impossible to count the rare and unrealeased songs because Rivers seems to average like 3 songs a day, but there used to be a website weezon.com that sold a 10 or 11 CD set of EVERYTHING they ever made. 10 or 11 cds before Green even came out. It was incredible, but got stolen along with all of my cds in San Diego years ago. Weezon is no longer around, weezerfans.com dreied up in like 04, weerez and all the others that had rare =w= stuff and great info, all gone. So I turn to you, my inherently loyal =w= friends...

Where do you dig for Weezer gold? Where is the music that only we know about hiding?

The first group of songs, I believe you are talking about, are the Maladroit demos, which began in the fall of 2001

Uploading a .RAR or .ZIP file to something like Rapidshare would be the most effective way of disseminating large volumes of unreleased recordings. If anyone has those unmastered, leaked versions of the green album...
