I was listening to SS2K earlier and I realised that loads of songs from that era have different elements of Blue and Pinkerton. For example..........
Mikey does falsetto backing vocals.
Everyone is doing they're own thing.
Musically its very good.
The bass and drums go off more often.
There are dual guitar solos
The songs are really catchy.
Brian has powerful backing vocals.
The bass and drums are quite complicated in the songs.
Who else agrees?.
Permalink Reply by Jamison Martin on August 18, 2012 at 2:54pm I disagree, I think SS2K is much better than Maladroit musically and in many other ways, also Weezer seemed to be having lots of fun in 2000.

Nah. SS2K is Maladroit + Green
Permalink Reply by Xavier on August 21, 2012 at 5:00am The amount of fun they were having has absolutely nothing to do with how it sounds. It sounds like a fusion of Green's 'poppiness' and Maladroit's 'pop-metal' roughness and lyrics imo
