yes, that is about the only band that can get close without utter failure.

that is a hard sound to replicate. even weezer couldn't really do it.

If you like Pinkerton, you will LOVE The Pixies. Try Surfer Rosa. The drum sound on that record is the best I've ever heard and probably will ever hear.
