Weezer songs seem to quote other Weezer songs pretty frequently.  For example, Tragic Girl references Butterfly, and Longtime Sunshine references Why Bother?  What's your favorite Weezer self-reference?

congratulations on all three of you being too stupid to understand that making a reference isn't simply using the same common word or phrase twice. now go tweet to each other about how mean we are and how you'll get us back by saying more stupid shlit. it's just as entertaining to watch you stumble this hard.

....and in Get Me Some, he says "high up above"

ps @SubwayWolf ...hi sweetheart <3 I've missed you!

Do you people really think these were intentionally quoted?

"You won't get with me tonight" says, "got to, got to getchoo!!", but I don't think it was referring to "getchoo".

It was probably inspired by getchoo because he doesn't say it like "get you," I sounds like he says "getchoo." but perhaps that's how he said getchoo at the time, just like how he had jamb in many of his song titles during maladroit era.
