Memories should go to Scandanavia, continental Europe, South America, and of course wee Ireland. Tickets would sell like hot cakes, why are they playing casinos in Cincinnati?

Every single one of weezer's albums was at least in the Top 40s in Norway. Green/Maladroit/Make Believe were all in the Top 10. Chart position wise, they're more successful in Norway than in the UK. And yes, I do understand that the UK probably is the bigger/more profitable music market. But still.
Some Scandinavian love wouldn't hurt.

Sure.
Nevertheless, high chart positions do indicate a certain popularity within a country. No matter how many people live there or buy albums in general. Especially if they are more or less consistent throughout a decade and more.
Again, I am aware of the difference between popularity and profitability.

People love you in this wonderful country, don't forget about that. Atlernative rock is still huuuuuuge in germany :)

ooh, yeah.
Did you see them in 2005? I was at the show in Hamburg. Drove 3 1/2 hours to see them.

unfortunately i didn't even know the band back then. i would have been to young anyway (13 years). how was the show? i i have seen all the videos available from their rock am ring performance 2005 and the sound and the performance was outstanding! what an amazing live performance...
weezer please come to germany in 2012 :)
