Not really. What you're saying is somewhat of a contradiction. This may or may not be what you're going for. Nevertheless, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. "Good" is a poor choice of a word. Many people who listen to Pinkerton can't get through "Tired of Sex" because of how rough it sounds (the screaming is pretty obnoxious).
By this logic Make Believe, The Red Album, Raditude, and Hurley still have the potential to be beloved Weezer albums some day. I'd say Make Believe has a chance, then again here I am making the same contradiction since Make Believe is the oldest album.

Permalink Reply by MakeUpOnShelf on October 25, 2010 at 3:29pm I agree completely 100% with his logic
i dont want the same old blue album/pinkerton again.....i dont mind different
it just happens that every attempt weezer makes of being different, weezer fails at it
Permalink Reply by MakeUpOnShelf on October 25, 2010 at 3:31pm I don't think I am contradicting myself at all. Sure, time will tell with the new stuff just like it took years for Pinkerton to be elevated to revered status. All I am saying is that Blue and Pink are different (agree?) and both good albums (agree again?)

Do I believe Blue and Pink are both good albums? No. I believe they are both GREAT albums.
