memories guitar
this is probably a stupid question, but listening to "memories" in the chorus, i always thought that a keyboard or synth was being used in the back. but last night watching leno, it was being played on guitar. is that part in the song a guitar or one of the aforementioned instruments?

I assume you're talking about the lead guitar. The lead on the album version is played by the synth.

There is a guitar and a synth playing the lead guitar in the chorus if that is what you're asking.
