I love mega64, but honestly, being hard on weezer generally happens because that's the thing to do, and not because people have actually sat down and listened to the newer albums. I don't know, maybe I am just a die hard fan, but usually the same people dissing weezer are the same people listening to Lady Gaga ironically. They secretly love it, but they don't want anyone to know. So I guess if mega64 is being ironic about the joke, yeah sure its funny. But I doubt that is where they are coming from.

Sorry I live in Milwaukee where the only people I deal with on a regular basis are hipsters, so they have to keep up a facade of not being too mainstream.
