I'm not sure which section to post this in, but it's slightly technical so I decided on the musical thread....

Anyway, as I'm sure most of you know, Weezer self-produced Pinkerton with the help of a number of  engineers. They couldn't get the sounds they wanted and ended up getting producer Dave Fridmann to engineer half the album.  In this video Dave explains how he came to work with Weezer and what it was like recording them – particularly ”Butterfly”.
