Last Wish
Weezer is my all-time favourite band. I was supposed to go on the Weezer cruise but I was undergoing chemotherapy treatments at the time and thus was unable to go. I am a Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer Patient and although I haven't been given any "life deadlines, like 'you have 6 months to live' " I know that my life will be cut short. I want to see Weezer before I die (I wish they had another cruise I could go on...that would be awesome).
I don't know if Weezer reads any of these posts; I will be doing treatment through to this April-(ish) and would love to see you if you tour anywhere in the middle of North America or the Great (White or not so white) Canadian North. (I am from Toronto).
I wrote last wish as my title because I didn't know what else to write. There is no stage 5 cancer- stage 4 is the last stage and just Weezer is so awesome. I'm sure your Asian tour will be amazing and I hope too see you guys if you tour back on home turf.

Fellow Torontonio here. Weezer seems to visit Toronto a lot (I've seen them here twice in the last few years), so I'm sure they'll definitely be playing nearby in the not to distant future. In fact, they were just at Casino Rama a few weeks ago (too bad you couldn't have made that show
). But yeah, Weezer tends to tour quite a bit, and I'm sure they'll play somewhere relatively close, if not in Toronto itself, soon.
I hope all your treatments go well, you sound like a really cool person.
Also, welcome to Weezer.com! Things have been kind of dead lately, but there are always interesting people to talk to in the chat room (just beware of trolls).

Thanks- that was very very imformative!! It seems the last 2 times they played (at Downsview Park this past summer I think and at Rama, I was in treatment). I know they tour a lot and I actually wanted to go to Pittsburgh when they played not long ago but sadly no one wanted to join me and making the trek alone would have been too difficult.
But yeah, Weezer is SO AMAZING!! I hope they do the weezer cruise again, I would give an appendage to go on it!
