I am looking for more bands like weezer, any ideas?

I love weezer and green day, I am looking for more bands like weezer or green day. Do you have any ideas for me :)

I'm not saying they necessarily sound like Weezer, but I always like recommending The Weakerthans. Their first three albums are very good, and their fourth is decent. They have an alternative/folk rock feel to their music, and lyrically, they are fantastic.

And yes, like G Foo said, expand your musical tastes. Start listening to more stuff and you'll be surprised how much music you'll end up getting into.

Like someone said above, OZMA is very similar to the Weez sound.

And maybe not the same sound, but you should give a listen to ASH and FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE.

The Jealous Sound / Knapsack

besides Ozma, these bands have similarities to weezer. Melodies, structure, solos, etc...Ozma is weezer, but better, but also wouldn't exist without weezer.
