Permalink Reply by Xavier on March 26, 2011 at 10:49pm I love the storytelling of the song.
When you give the lyrics a chance, they aren't so bad either.
That said, the actual style and sound of the song isn't amazing and it kind of drags on with the melody and instrumentation.
I dunno Rivers, personally I really liked heart songs

Are you really that stupid that you haven't realised that the majority of your fans (not including the moronic teenage tryhards on here) just want you to make music like you used to?

Permalink Reply by Troublemaker on March 27, 2011 at 3:10am Rivers' old stuff was experimentation too. Purification of Water, Hot Tub, Lover in the Snow and Walt Disney and all sound like the work of a different (though equally great) songwriter. Would you honestly place Heart Songs above any of those songs?

That is just ignorance.
