but then again good charlotte playing the blue album is much better than good charlotte playing one of their own albums.

I have my ticket for the Weezer Cruise booked and paid for, as do a number of other Australian Weezer fans.
So, at the risk of being insensitive and immature, I say
to your comment.To other Australian Weezer fans who may not be attending, I sincerely hope that you might afford the time/ money to attend. The more the merrier, I say.

Sorry. Poorly posted. It's just been one of those weeks where I've had little sleep and long working hours.
Firstly, to the person who created this thread, I am happy that you will get to hear Good Charlotte perform live. It's great to hear bands play locally.
Secondly, a number of us have been discussing the cruise for months now within the context of Facebook
and other websites online. So my comments might sound a bit out of context.Of course all of us probably have moments of "If I won the lottery I would..."
But you know, that's just hypothetical. In any case, we'd just like to see more people there.I'm not a rich person but what I have I attempt to share with others. That's why I do voluntary work wherever possible and get involved with fundraising. By the time January comes around I will very definitely need that vacation.

Yeah- I've never heard of anything like that. They aren't a Weezer cover band. They actually have their own stuff. It's one thing to play one or maybe 2 covers at a show of certain band. A whole album though? That's not cool at all.

That's the whole premise of this concert series that Jack Daniels puts on. Bands pick another band/artist to cover, and play their own hits as well. It's not simply Good Charlotte choosing to cover Weezer on their own.
