Does anyone have information regarding how Weezer is able to control the feedback from their guitars so well? I remember reading that The Angel and the One was a one take willy, and with the feedback they produced in the end- it kind of seems like that wasn't the case.
Any info?

Permalink Reply by OnlyinPinkerton on April 5, 2011 at 12:37pm I don't think that harnessing feedback in a studio environment is any big secret. It's just about experimenting with your guitar/effect/amp setup in a controlled environment. I've watched my 8 year old do this with his beater single humbucker guitar and cheapo 15 watt practice amp, so I'm fairly certain that it's a piece of cake when you have unlimited wattage and effects.
