Nah its one of the few remakes that i like better than the original, Johnny Depp is so good in it and Tim Burton gave the film his own twist. AND changed the songs.

I would like to announce that for whatever reason I had never seen Better Off Dead until last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I just saw Step Brothers. I'll just bump that to the top of my list.
With all the talk of Johnny Depp, I can't believe that no one has mentioned Dead Man (a movie so awesome that they invented the term "Acid Western" to describe it).
