Drawing of Rivers

This is a drawing I did for my Junior Certificate in school this year, thought I'd share it. This is for my first state examination in Art :)  Most of you probably haven't heard of these exams because I'm from Ireland though. I've got some of other band members but they've been sent away for marking, I just had a copy of this one :)

No offence taken. I'm 15 to mention, this is a relatively early examination in Ireland.

It's more going for realism, mind you that's basically actual size, so viewing it on a computer monitor might be to close to view properly. Try looking at it a little further away for the effect you'd actually get if you were looking at it in my house.

Cool. I like the glasses and the eyes.The eyes look really alive and, well, real.

You did get very good depth with the eye. I also like the shadow from the mic, which I hadn't noticed before; it really helps define the chin.

My personal advice, if you can't start studying everything at the start of the year, just do maybe on single subject or maybe two. Don't leave everything till the few weeks before the exam :P
